High-temperature applications

GG Group produces insulated jumper wires and braids, single core wires and data wires with extended insulation for high-temperature applications. If stringent requirements for chemical and solvent resistance must be met, we use ETFE and FEP as insulation materials, with FEP having a slightly higher degree of resistance compared to ETFE. Both are marked by excellent cold, heat and chemical resistance as well as superior electrical insulation characteristics. In the telecommunications segment, low, nearly non-frequency-dependent dielectric features are preferred.

Heat-resistant up to

  • FEP: Temperature range: –100 °C to +200 °C, excellent chemical resistance
  • ETFE: Temperature range: –100 °C to +150 °C, excellent chemical resistance

Applications:

  • Chemical industry
  • Furnace construction
  • Brickyards
  • Warming and heating devices
  • Safety switches
  • Use in high-frequency, broadband, coaxial, and microwave technology
