  • Administrative Assistant

 

 

 

YOUR TASKS

 

 

 

  • Coordinate transportation, travel and lodging for entire office and personnel
  • Create travel workflows for entire office and monitor until closed
  • Provide administrative and clerical support for the entire office
  • Coordinate and assist with special events or projects as requested
  • Maintain calendars and schedules
  • Coordinate and assist with computer equipment and task requested with IT
  • Maintain and create files or record keeping systems to include sorting, filing, and retrieving documents
  • Prepare and maintain new hire documents
  • Sort and distribute mail to appropriate department(s) within the company
  • File and coordinate office bills and related expenses with accounting team
  • Answer calls and greet visitors, provide information or direct caller/visitors to appropriate person.
  • Coordinate all office repairs or building maintenance with landlord
  • Maintain office supplies and coordinate office related items
  • Coordinate domestic and international shipments incoming and outgoing
  • Maintain and update customer contact mailing list
  • Assist purchasing/engineering with procurement of material during prototype or pilot phases
  • Assist accounting with any issues including, scheduling, account payables, etc.
  • Perform other duties as assigned or requested

 

 

 

YOUR PROFILE

 

 

 

  • High School Diploma and 1+ years of experience in automotive administrative role
  • Associates degree or equivalent in related field such as business, sales or marketing preferred
  • Must have excellent organizational skills
  • Must have excellent verbal, written and presentation communication skills
  • Must have strong interpersonal skills
  • Must be detailed oriented
  • Ability to multi-task, prioritize and close action items to meet deadlines
  • Must be a team player willing to adapt and learn
  • Must have excellent working knowledge in MS Office: Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook
  • Experience with SAP interface is helpful
  • Must be patient and diplomatic with positive and optimistic attitude

Engineering Program Manager

  • Engineering Program Manager

 

 

 

YOUR TASKS

 

 

 

Customer

 

 

 

  • Represent G&G at all technical and design review program meetings
  • Ownership of program change control and technical issues
  • Evaluate customer information/requirements (RFP, RFQ, RFI, etc.) and own technical response
  • Lead assigned projects by serving as technical and program deliverable responsible for product design and development from prototype phase to production.
  • Own DVP&R to meet requirements
  • Maintain program specific open issues list and drive for timely closure of all issues
  • Initiates and monitors product improvements during development phase, sample production and thru SOP
  • Document results and obtain required approvals of first product builds
  • Travel to customer and G&G facilities as needed
  • Ensure compliance with the assigned expense budget with utmost cost consciousness both for materials and engineering services
  • Interface with company management and escalate issues as appropriate

 

 

 

Direct Reports

 

 

 

  • Direct management responsibility for engineers/CAD designers
  • Provide supervision and ongoing feedback via recurring meetings, annual performance reviews, etc.
  • Encourage an innovative and creative work environment with employee interaction and integration
  • Mentor less experienced engineers as needed
  • Hire new employees within the approved staff budget
  • Recommend salary adjustments and promotions within budgetary and company regulations

 

 

 

Extended Teams

 

 

 

  • Drive cross-functional teams to achieve all program milestones per agreed timelines
  • Maintain DFMEA in collaboration with global teams
  • Collaborate across departments globally to ensure compliance to core company processes and methods
  • Support purchasing and supplier development department in all technical product related aspects including supplier development

 

 

 

YOUR PROFILE

 

 

 

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering (Electrical or Mechanical). Master’s Degree in Engineering preferred
  • 5+ years of experience in a product development function and relation-ships with automotive OEM customers
  • 5+ years management experience in Automotive Tier I supplier environment
  • Excellent communications and presentation skills
  • Organizational development experience
  • Experience in relevant core processes (project management, cost management and product development)
  • Patient and diplomatic with positive and optimistic attitude and keep a professional demeanour with customer at all times
  • Good organizational skills
  • Ability to multi-task, prioritize and close actions items to meet internal and external deadlines

Procurement Specialist- Southfield, MI

RESPONSIBILITIES:

 

 

 

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

 

 

 

  1. Identify and develop qualified North American supply base together with local engineering team, central purchasing and quality
  2. Contribute to sourcing strategies by analyzing supply base, capabilities, competitiveness and technologies
  3. Initiate and participate in supplier evaluation and visits together with commodity team as required
  4. Lead RFQ process by analyzing quotes, cost breakdowns, benchmarking, participate in strategic sourcing determining best value for the organization
  5. Support on-time RFQ responses from supply base to meet customer milestones
  6. Work closely alongside local sales and engineering to meet defined program costs targets and identifying in cost saving opportunities
  7. Negotiate with supply base
  8. Analyze make vs. buy decisions together with central purchasing
  9. Drive and implement cost targets while fulfilling customer and internal requirements
  10. Collaborate with various department team members globally to ensure compliance to established core company processes and methods.
  11. Evaluate customer information/requirements and review for technical compliance
  12. Interface with company management and escalate issues as appropriate
  13. Travel to customer and G&G facilities as required
  14. Issue Purchase Orders for production tooling, PPAP and first samples
  15. Project manage customer projects from purchasing perspective, i.e. detailed project progress follow up w/ suppliers (including tool and sample progress tracking)

 

 

 

Education

 

 

 

  1. Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Supply Chain or Engineering

  1. 5+ years of relevant experience in automotive Tier I supplier environment

Account Manager

Your Task

 

  • Responsible for all commercial aspects of product portofolio: automotive power cable harnesses and automotive data cables
  • Direct interface with customer purchasing organization
  • Identify key decision makers at potential customers and develop strong long term business relationtionship in order to secure new business and retain current business
  • Identify customer needs and act as the customer voice at internal meetings
  • Key stakeholder during the RFQ process in order to position different internal cross-functional teams to customer and internal requirements
  • Manage all aspects of customer quotations and price break downs
  • Provide upper management with direction and market trends of products and customers in order for company to gain competative edge
  • Gain access to all relevant product portofolio key information
  • Together with upper management develop, implement and lead business and sales strategies to enable growth
  • Grow market share through expansion of existing business as well as new customer acquisition
  • Work closely with internal upper management, Engineering and Purchasing organizaitons locally and in Europe/Mexico
  • Achieve revenue and profit to business plan and budget
  • Manage and recover costs for prototype parts, ED&D, engineering change notices piece price and tooling
  • Manage price strategy
  • Be able to analyze complex customer specification and  requirements

 

Your Profile

 

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering or Business. Prefer combination of Commercial and Engineering experience in the automotive industry specifically in harness and cable industry.
  • Minimum 5+ years of experience in Automotive Tier I environment
  • Experience in selling to Detroit 3 from Tier I level
  • Willingness to travel – 20%
  • Must be patient and diplomatic with positive and optimistic attitude and keep a professional demeanour at all times
  • Must be self-directed and motivated to complete tasks and resolve issues with minimal direction from management
  • Good communication and time management skills are required
